Health Owl
Health Owl offers personalized meditation sessions and breathing exercises to help users manage stress and anxiety effectively. The app includes a mood tracker that allows users to log their emotions daily, providing insights and patterns to better understand their mental well-being.
Vision and Innovation
Life is sometimes rough. Access to licensed therapists for virtual consultations is a big friction that can be avoided. Some Apps like Betterhelp have had privacy leaks or other concerns. Health Owl fixes that by using Blockchain technology to keep track of certificate level of providers and transparency on pricing.
Identifying Unique Challenges
Certain challenges like "How do we verify the provider while protecting privacy?" was one of our main concerns, as well as connecting and giving proofs to the user that they are talking to someone who is certified.
Resolving Complex Problems
We solved this with the use of something called ZKRollups, which compute proofs off-line, then use a special consensus mechanism to wrap that proof to the Blockchain, so the provider's data is protected but verified.
User-Centric Design
We went with a smooth purple and futuristic sleek design to target Gen-Alpha and made the design as dope as possible. We want Mental Health Awareness to be something that's fun and gamified instead of a tedious chore or task.
Meeting User Needs
Diverse users and goals are always important, so we added a mood tracker to gain feedback from users as the participate and use the app. We also kept things like accessibility in mind, and made text and call-to-actions simplified for all users to easily understand. Some features such as text-to-speech and other things were left out of the concept design but kept handy for upgrades in the future.
